Yes, it’s that time of the year again – Christmas is just around the corner. You may  love or loath this period but, either way, you’d better get prepared.
Before you get seduced into buying presents or decorations read our articles about decorating ideas, making your own Christmas gifts and DIY decorations.

We’ve put together some tips and ideas about how to create white, elegant, natural, trendy and traditional Christmas themes.These are just inspirations  – instead of buying new décor elements, just recycle your old ones by redecorating them or updating them. Also, try to be a bit different – make your own decorations and gifts! Not only will you create unique thing but you’ll save a lot of money too. Actually, trying to be eco-friendly this Christmas is quite important. Wherever you are in the world, you must have experienced the climate change over the last decade or so. Therefore do try your best and don’t waste too much food, wrapping paper, cards and energy. It’s not easy, given that presents need to be wrapped, the tree needs to be lit and the dining table needs to offer great food.

Having read our Christmas tips and ideas, sit down and create a to-do-list-before-Christmas. Include housework, presents, cards, parties, food, decoration, the tree and Christmas dinner. Write down what needs to be done; for whom you need to get presents & send cards; how many parties you’ll be attending or hosting; where and when to get the tree; etc. And do have  a budget – allocate amounts for each category. Then allocate things to do at each weekend over the next 6 weeks. Don’t plan to do too much at a time, otherwise you’ll feel overwhelmed or exhausted and you won’t be looking forward to the following week’s task.
