What is it?

The DIY Together Market is an online marketplace where you can buy or sell used power tools, materials, furniture, garden tools, decorating tools - anything to do with DIY home improvement. In order to sell items you must register first and obtain a block of at least 10 tokens. The tokens can be used for up to 10 ads. For a limited period we are offering free tokens that can be used anytime for up to 3 months (and for other services too!). To find items, you can browse through the categories, or search specifically for what you are after. You can sort on make, distance from your postal area, price, etc. If you find something you want, just register with us and you can get in touch with the seller through DIY Together.

How does it work?

It's just like putting up a card on the notice-board in your local shop. You fill out a card, with or without a picture, describe the item and provide your details. We do not charge any commission on sales.

Sellers

• You must register and obtain a block of at least 10 tokens ... special offer
• Each token gives you 1 card for 1 week
• You can redeem your tokens within a year of purchase... special offer
• Prime positions such as Today's Specials cost more tokens... more
• Your personal & contact details will not be revealed
• You can upload an image of your item
• Potential buyers will be put in touch with you via DIY Together - you then decide to whom you wish to sell
• You make all the necessary arrangements (payment, delivery etc) between yourselves

Buyers

• You can browse through the categories or search for a specific item
• You can limit your search to postal areas near yours
• The contact details of the sellers are not revealed. So if you find something you would like to purchase or you want more information about it you may contact the seller through the DIY Together site. You need to register with us to do so. You then make all the necessary arrangements between yourselves
• We do not charge you for any purchases you make via the DIY Together site

Rules

• Only DIY & Home related items can be sold
• We reserve the right to delete anything that we believe to be inappropriate or in breach of our terms & conditions
• All delivery and payment arrangements are between the sellers & buyers

• By using the DIY Market service you are bound by the DIY Together User Agreement
